A Novel Idea for New Year’s Resolutions

Heading towards my 64th birthday, I’ve finally found the solution for New Year’s resolutions.  Do any of you know anyone that has ever kept those resolutions for a year?

Well, my solution is to make one resolution per month…surely, I can keep a resolution for a month!

My first resolution for January, 2011 is to NOT, NADA, NO WAY JOSE, buy anything over the internet.  Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus, and this will probably cause a major interruption in the recovery of the economy.  However, I AM CONFIDENT  that I can do this….mainly because I’ll be on a trip and not have my computer with me!!!  Oops, I didn’t really need to share that, did I? 

I may need words of encouragement once in awhile, but I think I will be able to do it.  So if you should get a phone call from me in the middle of the night, when I’m unable to sleep, rest assured that you should answer it, and just say “step away from the website”.

I hope we all have a prosperous New Year!!!!
