We have 6 people going on our next S.E.X. trip in August to Chicago’s yarn market by Knitting Universe.

We’ll be headed for Carbondale, IL on a Wednesday to spend the night and catch the train the next morning.  Should be a fun time on the train with no one responsible for driving or reading maps, which can sometimes be trying unless we use “Scarlett, the GPS”.  We nicknamed the GPS system Scarlett on our last trip because we were in Atlanta….instead of Gone With The Wind, we were Shopping With the Wind!

We’ll arrive back home late Saturday night – tired, and will be hardly able to contain ourselves till the following Friday for class to tell about our adventures (and who snores).

An update on our last excursion to the Atlanta area:  Oh my!  Three of the shoppes we visited have or are in the process of closing! Oh no!!!  The Purly Gates in Marietta is closing and it’s such a wonderful shop with friendly owners.  We are all sad and held a moment of silence for these closings at knitting last Friday.
